XXIV NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION "LIBRARIES - READING - COMMUNICATIONS"
On 13 and 14 November 2025 the Regional Library "Petko R. "Preservation, conservation, digitization and promotion of movable cultural heritage".
Commemoration of 840 years since the Asenevtsi uprising, restoration of the Bulgarian state and the proclamation of Tarnovgrad as the capital of Bulgaria.

The scientific forum is under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.
The conference covers topics in library and information science, book studies, literary history, print communications and media.
The organizers invite you to participate by submitting your papers electronically in advance to
The technical parameters of the papers include:
- exposition up to 10 min;
- maximum length - 8 pages (including illustrative material and cited literature);
- text in MS Word format and copy in PDF;
- font Times New Roman, size 12 pt;
- abstract and keywords - in Bulgarian and English up to 300 words.
Structure of the report and reference apparatus:
title of the report (without abbreviations);
information about the author/authors - first and last name;
tables, graphs, etc. appendices are numbered, in the field below the table a title or an explanatory note is placed to link to the text;
illustrative materials (photos, etc.) are numbered, in the field below the table. the list of sources (bibliography) shall be formatted according to BDS 17-337 of 1997 for citation of journal articles, monographs, individual chapters of books, etc. and shall be given at the end of the report.
Scientists, university lecturers, research workers, members of BBIA, as well as scientific specialists from abroad are invited to participate in the conference by invitation of the organizing committee.
Participants' expenses (travel, subsistence and accommodation) are at the expense of the sending country.
