XXIII NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

"LIBRARIES - READING - COMMUNICATIONS"

On 14 and 15 November 2024 the Regional Library "Petko R. Slaveykov" - Veliko Tarnovo, as the host and main organizer plan to hold the XXIII National scientific conference with international participation "Libraries-reading-communications" on the topic of:

"Information provision in front of artificial intelligence challenges".

and celebrating the 135th anniversary of the first public library in Veliko Tarnovo.

The Scientific Forum is under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

The conference covers topics in library and information science, book studies, literary history, print communication and media.

The organizers invite you to participate by submitting your reports in advance  electronically on е-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by October 15, 2024.

The technical parameters of the reports include:

• expose of up to 10 min;
• max volume – 8 pages (incl. illustrations and cited literature);
• text in MS Word format and a copy in PDF;
• Times New Roman font, size 12
• summary with key words - in Bulgarian and English of up to 300 words.

Structure of the report and reference aids:

• title of the report (without abbreviation);
• information about the author / authors – name and surname;
• tables, graphs and other applications are numbered. In the field below the heading table, a title or explanatory note is placed to link the text;
• illustrative material (pictures, etc.) are sent in separate files in TIFF/JPG format, appropriate named;
• the list of sources (bibliography) is formed according to BDS 17-337 of 1997 for citing journal articles, monographs, book chapters, etc. and is given at the end of the report.

To participate in the conference, we invite scientists, academics, researchers, members of BLIA as well as scientific professionals from abroad by invitation of the organizing committee.

The expenses of the participants (travel, daily and accommodation expenses) are on account of the sending side.
