On 17 April in the reading room of the National Library "P. Р. Slaveykov" took place on the 17th of April, the presentation of the volume IV of the "Bulgarian National History. Byzantine rule and the era of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom", with the participation of Prof. Dr. Plamen Pavlov, lecturer at the Faculty of History of the University of Veliko Tarnovo and one of the authors of the publication.
The book of 6 sections and over 700 pages, published by Abagar Publishing House, was presented by Kremena Krumova and Dr. Anelia Markova. The author's team has tried to offer the increasingly demanding readership the most objective picture of the historical events and processes, of the state-political, economic and cultural development in the Bulgarian lands from the beginning of the 11th to the middle of the 15th century. The texts are the work of the authors' collective Plamen Pavlov, Ivan Lazarov, Georgi N. Nikolov, Anelia Markova and Krasimir Krastev and with the participation of Ivan Tyutyundzhiev, Venelin Grudkov, Plamen Sabev, Tervel Popov and Kiril Marinov. The presentation was attended by the Rector of the University of Veliko Tarnovo Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov, Vice-Rectors Prof. Nikolay Kanev and Assoc. Prof. Anna Ivanova, friends and colleagues.
