On October 10, in the reading room of RL "P. R. Slaveykov" meeting-seminar "Women for the Future" - World Cafe on the topics: Women Leaders and Women in Art, organized by Prof. Teodora Kaleinska and European Information Center - Veliko Tarnovo EIC - Europe Direct - Veliko Tarnovo / Europe Direct - Veliko Tarnovo in partnership with Regional Library "P. R. Slaveykov"
At the meeting partners from different European countries discussed the role of women in society, gender equality, integration of women in art.
The meeting ended with the opening of an exhibition in the lobby of the library on the theme "Women for the Future" - an exhibition of books by women artists. Special guest of the event was Rositsa Dimitrova, Director of the Directorate of Social Activities and Health.
The exhibition included books by the poets Ekaterina Nencheva, Dora Gabe, Elizaveta Bagryana. Writers Fanny Popova-Mutafova, Yana Yazova, Blaga Dimitrova. As well as writers from Veliko Tarnovo region, including Ana Stoyanova, Nezabravka Apostolova, Veselina Kozhuharova, Ruzha Velcheva, Pavlina Vladeva, Steliyana Martinova with the creative pseudonym "Estela Mare, Svetla Andreeva, Sasha Alexandrova and Elena Chamurkova, etc.
You will see luxury editions with recipes by Sylvena Rowe, Angie Kasabier and Irina Tencheva. Also of interest is the luxury edition of opera singer Sonya Yoncheva - "Fifteen Mirrors", in which she has chosen to present fifteen iconic opera heroines.
