On March 21, 2024 at 15.00 in the foyer of the Regional Library were awarded the prizes in the annual contest My hometown.

For the twenty-fourth time the Regional Department of Education - Veliko Tarnovo and the Regional Library "Petko R. Slaveykov announced the competition for children's and youth creativity in the fields of Literature and Fine Arts on the theme "170 years since the birth of Stefan Stambolov - Apostle of the First Revolutionary District - politician and statesman". Official guests of the event were Mr. Valentin Mihaylov - Deputy Governor of the District and Eng. Rosalia Licheva - Head of the Regional Education Department - Veliko Tarnovo. The organizers would like to thank Magdalena Tsvetanova, a student at Emilian Stanev Secondary School and a vocalist at Emoji Kids Music Formation with vocal teacher Irena Traykova, for the musical arrangement. At the end, the participants joined in the traditional photo for the archive of the competition, after which the guests viewed the exhibition of the awarded works. The event is part of the cultural calendar of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality, Regional Library and Regional Department of Education on the occasion of the Feast of Veliko Tarnovo - March 22.
