For the 18th year in a row, the Bulgarian Library and Information Association organizes the advocacy campaign National Library Week with a series of diverse events throughout the country. The initiative is carried out in partnership with the "Global Libraries - Bulgaria" Foundation. Media partners of the campaign are BNT, BNR, c. Standard and the online media I Read and Children's Books.

6:00 p.m. Presentation of the collection "The Music of Words", dedicated to the activity and professional path of Dr. Emilia Milkova, long-time member of the Board of Directors of BBIA and president of BBIA (2020 - 2021).

11:00 a.m. Closing of National Library Week.
Presentation of the 2023 BBIA Annual Awards.
Cocktail.
Invited to participate in the opening are representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, libraries, library institutions, non-governmental organizations.
