"There are about 400,000 plants on the planet, but some of them are threatened with extinction and we need to learn to protect them because everything on our Earth is interconnected and every living thing is needed. Flowers have different lifespans. Some live for only one year and others are biennial or perennial. They have different needs for warmth and humidity as well as light. That is why different species live in different places around the world, with different climates. Some even grow in deserts, even though it is dry and there is no water.
Our wonderful Bulgaria is extremely rich in wild flowers and the nature is magical! And the production of fragrant oil-bearing roses makes us famous all over the world.
About Flowers and Letters is part of our Smart Books series. After I told you about the birds and fish, it's the turn of the flowers. They make the world so beautiful and magical with their presence!
